When it comes to getting dental implants, you need to see a specialist. You don’t want just any old guy or gal: you want a top-rated specialist on dental implant issues.
Dental Implants
At San Francisco Dental Implant Center our Dr. Alex Rabinovich and Dr. Noah Sandler are both dental implant specialists with many years of experience. The name of our office is a bit of a clue: dental implants are what we do.

Many people who have missing teeth feel embarrassed by it, especially when they are at the front of the mouth when the gaps show every time you talk or smile, or laugh. In fact, some people are so embarrassed by it that they will put their hands over their mouths when they laugh at a joke.

Not only that, but if you have two or three teeth missing in the front center of your mouth it can actually make it difficult for other people to understand what you are saying when you talk to them. This is because the tongue doesn’t have anything to push against when you use certain words.

All These Issues Can Be Fixed

All of these issues can be fixed once and for all by our dental implant specialists. We will restore your smile so that you can speak clearly, laugh at a joke without embarrassment, and smile when you meet someone. Not only that, but you will be able to eat foods that you may not have been able to eat for years, especially if you have been using dentures.

The dental implant itself is a titanium screw which is inserted into the jawbone. Over a period of weeks, the jawbone will grow tightly around the implant in a process known as osseointegration so that it will perform exactly as the original tooth root did. The crown is fixed on to the top of the implant and – lo and behold! – for all practical purposes you have got your teeth back again!

Dental implants are just so much better than dentures that there is really no comparison. They are also a vast improvement over a bridge which involves cutting down two perfectly good teeth on each side of a missing one in order to support the bridge. Why on earth destroy two teeth to replace one?

Our dental implant specialists can replace a single missing tooth, several teeth, or even all of the teeth in a procedure known as “teeth in a day”. Yes, you can come into our office in the morning and leave in the afternoon with a brand-new set of gleaming white teeth! What could possibly be better?
